Ben Smith

Benjamin Smith is currently an Investment Specialist for Kestra Investment Management. He provides sales and service for the Kestra IM models and strategies to the financial professionals within Kestra Holdings. This includes transition analysis, portfolio construction, ongoing education and providing advisor insight to the team as they develop and expand the platform.

Before joining the Investment Management team in June of 2022, Ben was an Advice Consultant at Charles Schwab, where he spent the last 6 years assisting clients with building their retirement plans. Prior to that, he was a member of the active trader team, assisting with high frequency traders and discussing trading strategies.

Ben earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Tulane University, where he was a student manager for the men’s basketball team. In his free time, he may be found on the golf course, reading books, or trying new restaurants around Austin with his wife, Courtney.
